Sales Tax

Pacific Water Marine Specialists is not obligated to collect sales tax on any order shipped from  FL location outside of FL. Without exemption status or proof of export (BoL), orders delivered to FL addresses will be required to pay FL sales tax.

Back Orders

If an item is subject to a manufacturer’s delay, a Customer Service Representative will notify you. If you would like to continue with your order to ship when available, we will charge you for the order and ship as soon as your unit arrives. Internet credit card authorizations cannot be held in a pending state for more than 7 days, so for back orders and special orders, we must either capture or cancel, or collect funds through a more traditional transaction.

Special Orders

Our representatives will be happy to assist you with all your special orders. Please supply us with all manufacturer information pertaining to the product you wish to order (i.e., model number, name, and color). Pacific Water Marine  Specialists is not responsible for incorrect manufacturer information. With few exceptions, Special Orders may not be cancelled or returned. Items shipped directly from the supplier/manufacturer are billed at the time of order and may incur an additional service fee imposed by the supplier.

Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges

Please make sure to include the original packaging, manuals, and all other products pieces with your return. We reserve the right to refuse returns or assess additional fees at our discretion if the merchandise is not in the original packaging and ready-to-be-sold condition.

Electronics, inflatable boats, trailers, and outboard engines cannot be returned. For all other products, returns for refunds must be made within 10 days, minus shipping and handling fees. Returns for store credit or exchange must be made within 30 days. Special orders are ineligible for returns. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and notified within 10 days. A refund will be processed once product is received from customer. Customers must notify return within 10 days and provide a tracking number to be eligible for a refund.

Showroom models, demos, clearance, and scratch and dent products may have some cosmetic imperfections or scratches, are discounted due to this, and this is not considered a reason for return or exchange.

Returns & Damages

Goods supplied in accordance with a customer order cannot be returned without the prior written consent of Pacific Water Marine

Pacific Water Marine will issue a Returns Note to authorize the return of goods. Authorized returns must be returned to Pacific Water Marine at the customer’s expense, unless agreed otherwise in advance.

Any goods returned are subject to a handling charge of 15%.

Goods must be returned in a resaleable condition.

Non-compliance of the contract or any product discrepancies must be reported to Pacific Water Marine by 2pm the following day of delivery.

Failure to notify Pacific Water Marine within 24 hours will mean that any goods delivered are deemed to be in accordance with the contract and the customer shall be bound to accept and pay for the goods received.

DAMAGES:

All damages must be notified to Pacific Water Marine by 2pm the following day of delivery.

Photographic evidence will be required.

Goods should be quarantined and made available for inspection by the Area Account Manager and must be made available for uplift as salvage.

Replacement goods or discounts to be agreed by Pacific Water Marine in advance of disposal.

Goods noted as damaged on delivery should be signed for as damaged or unchecked with the carrier.

Shipping

All Major Units purchasable online ship via UPS or a freight carrier determined by Boat Specialists logistics team. To purchase a major unit that cannot be added to the cart, please Email the Sales Team at info@pacificwatermarine.com. Most items not purchasable on the website will require delivery via freight carrier or specialized boat hauler.

Pacific Water Marine Specialists representative will contact you to confirm the shipping destination and rates. 

For parts orders, shipping is provided via UPS Ground or USPS Priority and is determined by the Pacific Water Marine logistics team. Expedited shipping methods are available during the checkout process. The cutoff for same-day shipping is Noon, 12 PM PST Monday-Friday. If you require expedited processing, please call us before or after placing your order—expedited processing cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers will be responsible for paying all shipping costs when returning an order. Make sure to get a tracking number for your shipment. Customers bear the responsibility to monitor the progress of any returned packages.

Please allow up to 5 business days during peak season for processing and shipping on all major units. All orders are processed in the order they are received. Customers may experience slight shipment delays due to a high volume of orders. The Boat Specialists is actively working towards optimizing its services to best support this increase in demand. Thank you for your understanding.

Warranty Information & Damaged Goods

Most items we sell are covered by manufacturers’ warranties. If you experience difficulty with a part or accessory, please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email info@pacificwatermarine.com. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. For major units (inflatable boats and outboards), please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email info@pacificwatermarine.com.

We thoroughly inspect all items prior to shipment. We suggest that you also thoroughly inspect the items before accepting delivery. If damage is apparent, refuse delivery or if your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact Inflatable Boat Specialists Customer Service immediately. Do not discard the box or any packaging materials.

*Please note, all motors require oil and fuel prior to starting. Please follow the instructions in the manual.
